"Back in high school..."

Earlier tonight, I watched the American Music Awards with stud (I figured 'stud' is a better pet name than 'gotham'). During one of the commercial breaks, he sent me a picture of him wearing a pair of spiffy glasses.

It was the first time I saw him wearing spectacles, and boy did he look dashing. ツ

See now... I can never pull off wearing glasses, and there's actually a story behind it. Back in high school, I was "the dork" for most of my senior years. It wasn't until the final year - the year I graduated - that I became one of the popular kids... sorta. Heh!

This happened the year before I graduated. I was sitting in class paying attention to the teacher when one of "the class bully" came over to my desk and sat backwards on a chair in front of me. He started teasing me and it got to the point where he snagged my spectacles right off my face. There wasn't really much I could do, considering how the teacher was an old, frail man so needless to say, he would be of no help.

Then, the "class bully" wore my glasses and kept judging how thick the lenses were, and mocked how I looked in them. Back then, I was only 15 and was rather self conscious of my appearance.

So each time I present myself in front of anyone (excluding my family and my roommate, Kevin), I would have to be wearing either contact lenses or a blindfold of some sort. I would feel judged if I had on a pair of glasses and stood in front of a crowd/a group of friends.

"...the kinks and the kinky..."

He finally did it! He asked me out!
I'm officially Steven Churlz Marshall's boyfriend.

I can't even...

To put how I am feeling into perspective, imagining winning the billion dollar prize in a lottery AND winning a noble prize for accidentally discovering the cure for aids and cancer that very same day.

It may be early, and it may seem like we're rushing into this relationship without putting too much thought into it, but we both agreed to work out the kinks and the kinky along the way. I'm confident, and I have high hopes for our future. I really do!

"...the silver lining..."

I've learned a lot about his previous relationships and to be honest, I'm... speechless. There are no words for what he has gone through. Life has been extremely unfair to him, and I am making this promise to myself - that for as long as I am a part of his life, I will never let him go through another day of heartbreak or misery ever again. I wish I could hold him and nurse his pain away, because hearing about his history and all those destructive relationships he had to endure has rendered me disheartened.

I guess the silver lining to this episode is that I am the one person that can rid him of all his despair. The one person whom he can share his woes with. The one person that can make him... happy! He said I was the light at the end of a long dark life that he has led thus far. I mean, come on... How fucking charming is that!
*dab tears*

Oh. Also, he did ask about my real name and where I'm really from. When I told him I wasn't ready to reveal my identity, he was fine with it; very understanding, might I add. I'm telling you, he's perfect!

"I'm not alone anymore..."

Today, I met this incredible guy who gave me these jittery feelings that I only get when I have a crush on someone. I met him on a social online game, IMVU. It's very similar to ourWorld, except it doesn't require you to level your character, mainly dress up your avatar to look spiffy and interact with random people you meet in chat rooms. I won't lie... I kinda like the game. xD

A bit later, I was pulled into a group conversation on Skype with his best friend, Stephie. Oh, did I forget to mention that his name is Steven? I do think it's a nice name, one that I can see myself carving into the bark of a tree - along with mine - in the months to come, when we learn more about each other. Our mutual friend, Jai, was also in the group call, so that made our first encounter a little less awkward. Woot!

Throughout the chat, I was hesitant to tell them my real name and where I'm really from - not that they didn't already figure out my name wasn't really Logan and that I'm not from Canada nor am I Canadian - because as soon as I uttered 'Zac', they both got really wide-eyed and wary, so I panicked and said what I had to say in hopes that I could make a better first impression. It worked for awhile, but now I feel really bad for being dishonest.

Skip ahead to later in the call, I got on cam and was wearing nothing but my favorite Owl City jacket and a pair of briefs. I recall twerking. Twice. Steven missed it the first time and Stephie told me to shake my booty once more, so I did. It caught their attention... BIG TIME! But damn, does that make me some sort of cheap slut? *shrugs*

I excused myself to go grab a bite and when I came back, the call had ended. I was a little disappointed but much to my surprise, Steven started talking to me in our own little private chat. He complimented me on how I look, how I behaved and also my sex appeal. It was the happiest I've ever felt in a long, long while - not because he was flattering me with admiration, but because the guy I'm slowly falling in love with feels the same way about me. I'm not alone anymore, and as I'm posting this, I can't seem to stop smiling.
