"...the silver lining..."

I've learned a lot about his previous relationships and to be honest, I'm... speechless. There are no words for what he has gone through. Life has been extremely unfair to him, and I am making this promise to myself - that for as long as I am a part of his life, I will never let him go through another day of heartbreak or misery ever again. I wish I could hold him and nurse his pain away, because hearing about his history and all those destructive relationships he had to endure has rendered me disheartened.

I guess the silver lining to this episode is that I am the one person that can rid him of all his despair. The one person whom he can share his woes with. The one person that can make him... happy! He said I was the light at the end of a long dark life that he has led thus far. I mean, come on... How fucking charming is that!

Oh. Also, he did ask about my real name and where I'm really from. When I told him I wasn't ready to reveal my identity, he was fine with it; very understanding, might I add. I'm telling you, he's perfect!
